When not running plaisir, Anthony and Clare are actors, having met while training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. They graduated in 2003 and now work in theatre, radio and television.
Clare made her professional debut in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie while still at college. Companies she's worked with include the Royal Lyceum, the Traverse, Vanishing Point, Dundee Rep, the Royal Exchange, the Tron, STV and BBC Radio 4. Clare has also worked in arts education: she was a learning assistant for Urbis, the museum of the modern city in Manchester, and has delivered arts and drama workshops for a variety of schools and colleges.
In addition to productions at the Citizens' and the Library Theatre, Anthony's television appearances include Coronation Street, Instinct, Sorted, Johnny and the Bomb, Happy Hollidays and Garrow's Law. Anthony is an experienced drama facilitator, having trained with Bigfoot Theatre in arts education for children. He's devised and delivered drama sessions for primary, secondary and university students.
